Chapter Fifteen: The Masquerade
“So, uh… why are you Tuxedo Mask now, anyway?”
All heads turned to the current vice-president of the Anime Club, who'd had the audacity to finally ask the question, and then, to Alan.
“It doesn't matter,” Henry said, throwing up his hands. “I've already talked to the stage crew. They're changing the musical cue, and I've got the spotlight guy's word that he's going to follow the rose as Alan throws it to Sharon. It'll be fine.”
Everyone nodded.
“But, why?” the vice-president asked, again. Dale never failed to ask a question that no one should have asked, and as usual, an awkward silence fell over the group.
Alan wanted to lie.
